Flashforward is an american sci-fi tv drama which is set in the present day. It is about a mysterious event which causes everyone on the planet to simultaneously lose consciousness for 137 seconds, during which people see what appear to be visions of their lives approximately six months in the future. A team of Los Angeles FBI agents, led by Stanford Wedeck (Courtney B. Vance) and spearheaded by Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes), begin the process of determining what happened, why, and whether it will happen again.
It is directed by Bobby Roth and created by Brannon Braga and David S. Goyer. The audience for this show would probably be mainly people interested in sci-fi shows. I chose this drama because it seems really interesting and makes me wonder what would happen in our world if it was real.
In the first episode we first see the main character Mark Benford who is coming out of a crashed car. We then see a scene of destruction and people screaming and it almost seems like a dream. This is shown right at the start so that there is an enigma and the audience would stay to watch what has happened.
